So this is the last day of my trip that I did with my old man to watch some English Premiere League football. The game was Manchester United vs. Arsenal - only missing thing from perfection was that it was not a Arsenal home game. Man Utd needed one point to secure the championship of the English Premiere League. So Man Utd did everything not to lose and Arsenal did everything to win.Eventhough the match ended 0-0 it was a good games defensively and strategy-wise. A quick word about the atmosphere, AMAZING. Eventhough I don't support Man Utd I gotta say, the atmosphere is way better than in any other NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAA Basketball, Finnish hockey league, or any other sport event I've been to, and I tell you I've been to some intense games before. I really doubt there is any other sport arena that has an atmosphere like this, maybe a handful of them but not many.
Other than Manchester, I've visited also during this trip Chester and Liverpool. Chester is the nicest city of these 3 with all this Ancient Roman stuff and all the old building. While in Chester, I've visited pubs that are 300 and 400 years old ! Sick !
Liverpool is pretty much an average British city unless you are a huge Beatles fan. They sell a lot of overpriced Beatles souveniers there so if you're a huge Beatlemaniac check that out. Manchester is a little nicer than Liverpool and I could imagine the best place to party of these three, a worth of visiting.
Okay enough with the travel memoirs, I have a new favourite car. Maserati Gran Turisimo. As I have seen both Quattroporte and Gran Turisimo live here in England, I gotta say the good ole' Gran Turisimo tops even the new Quattroporte.
Just look the beauty of it

The new 2009 Jaguar XK is also nice one, be sure the check it out as well.
As I was flying over here last friday I was listening to music from my MacBook and so I had shuffle on in iTunes, suddenly a random reggae song starts playing and I'm like what is this great song !? Eventually I found out it was a song my friend sent to me a year ago and I hadn't listened it at all. So I started search this songs from my iTunes music library that I have but haven't paid attention. I found a lot of great songs that that I got but never paid attention to after the first listening. So my this week's playlist consists of these songs that have been forgotten but found again, Check Out !
The Lost and Found Playlist :
Toots & The Maytals - Country Roads Take me Home : A great reggae/carribean cover of the John Denver song. Instead of West Virginia they're singing about West Jamaica. Justa gotta love the Carribean tunes.
Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra - Kiss the Sky : I actually got this song just couple weeks ago but still hadn't listened to it. A great song in vein of Gorillaz, Gnarls Barkley and...I dunno...Portishead ?
Shit Disco - 72 Virgins (The Bloody Beetroots remix) : A great remix by the Bloody Beetroots that had just lost in to the sea of great remixes. If you like this new electro / nu disco wave be sure to check this fella out.
Ben Harper - Sexual Healing : Another great cover that I had just totally forgotten. If anybody can do a decent Marvin Gaye cover (and I reckon there isn't many) this is one of 'em. Some great acoustic vibes from this great musical talent.
The Smashing Pumpkins - Bring the Light : This selection might be hard to understand if you don't like the Smashing Pumpkins. Anyways I found this song from the Zeitgeist album that is otherwise kind of a mediocre one. However, this song has some original Pumpkins sounds and I like it !
So here's the newest update. I forgot to apologize my mis-spellings but to hell with it. Be sure to check out our's Blak & Dekker's My Space profile, new songs coming up.
p.s : I just found a video taken right next to where I sat in the Man Utd football match. If you watch this video you'll see a little what's the atmosphere in these games as this isn't event loud compared to the singing when the game is actually on.
Over and out and to the streets of Manchester,
Sam
